Course Description

Once you have completed Potter's Wheel Basics, or if you have prior wheel experience and are comfortable throwing, continue with this affordable 2-hour, six-week course. You will expand your knowledge of the techniques involved in throwing functional ware and explore glazes beyond a single coat. Following this course, you might expand your pottery skills through a handbuilding course, retake Continuing Potter’s Wheel, or become a member and create on your own. Each weekly class is two hours long - which breaks out to an affordable cost of $49/week. Class size limited to 8. Included with Continuing Potter's Wheel: - Open studio time to practice throwing on your own each week. Please see the Practice Time link on the website for current practice hours. - 25 pounds of clay (including firing and glazing). - Basic tools for your use during class. (Bring a towel and apron if you like.)
