Course Description

Once you have completed Introduction to Potter's Wheel, or if you have prior wheel experience and are comfortable throwing, continue with this 2-hour, six-week course. You will expand your knowledge of the techniques involved in throwing functional ware. This class explores glazes beyond a single coat. Upon completing this course, you might retake Continuing Potter’s Wheel, become a member, or take Intermediate Potter’s Wheel; this all depends on where you’re at with the craft. Included with Continuing Potter's Wheel: - Open studio time to practice throwing on your own each week. *Monday through Thursday 11am-8pm *Saturday and Sunday 11am-7pm (No practice on Fridays) - 25 pounds of clay (including firing and glazing). - Basic tools for your use during class. (Bring a towel and apron if you like.)

Cancellation Policy

Because our classes are often full, we ask that you cancel/reschedule 5 days in advance of your first Weekly Course for a refund so we can re-book the wheel. For Weekly Courses, we are generally able to accommodate one missed class, depending on an available wheel. All refunds are issued after deducting non-refundable processing fees to cover costs incurred. Our one-time classes have a 3-day cancellation or reschedule policy. Member clinics have a 24 hour cancellation requirement.
