If you've completed either our 6-week Techniques in Slab and Pinch or Creating with Coils courses (or have equivalent experience) this course is the perfect next step for you. Designed for enthusiasts who are eager to delve deeper into the art of slab or coilbuilding, this course will focus on developing your personal artistic growth and expression. Under expert guidance, you'll explore advanced techniques to create more ambitious projects, limited only by your imagination and a 12"x12" size constraint. This course emphasizes personalized instruction, ensuring you receive hands-on demonstrations, detailed feedback, and one-on-one support tailored to your personal ideas and goals. Bring your sketches and project ideas to life as you work closely with the instructor to refine and execute your visions. Whether you're aiming to perfect your technique or challenge yourself with larger-scale creations, this course offers the perfect environment for expanding your knowledge, enhancing your skills, and achieving your artistic aspirations in the studio. Find growth, challenge, and fulfillment in every piece you craft. Included with this course: - Open studio time to practice throwing on your own each week. Please see the Student Practice page on the website for current practice hours. - 25 pounds of clay (including firing and glazing). - Basic tools for your use during class. (Bring a towel and apron if you like.) (There are no makeup classes for this course. If you need to miss a class, speak with your instructor about what you will miss. Try to get extra studio practice that week and follow any guidelines for learning what you will miss that your instructor may have for you.)

Cancellation Policy

To reschedule or be refunded (less transaction fees) requires: - at least 3 days notice before a One-Time Class - at least 5 days notice before the first day of a 6-week course No refunds issued with less than the required notice above, but if your spots are rebooked we will gladly reschedule you.
