Course Description

Explore your artistic side by learning the art of coil pottery at Throw Clay LA. Our Creative Coil Pottery class focuses on the making of coils, building both open and closed forms, and creating unique surface treatments. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced potter, this class offers a fun and challenging experience that encourages experimentation and self-expression. Join us and discover the joy of creating beautiful and unique handbuilt ceramic pieces. Each weekly class is two hours long - which breaks out to an affordable cost of $49/week. Class size limited to 8. Included: - Open studio time to practice throwing on your own each week. Please see the Student Practice page on the website for current practice hours. - 25 pounds of clay (including firing and glazing). - Basic tools for your use during class. (Bring a towel and apron if you like.) (There are no make up classes for this course. If you need to miss a class, speak with your instructor about what you will miss. Try to get extra studio practice that week, and follow any guidelines for learning what you will miss that your instructor may have for you.)

Cancellation Policy

To reschedule or be refunded (less transaction fees) requires: - at least 3 days notice before a One-Time Class - at least 5 days notice before the first day of a 6-week course No refunds issued with less than the required notice above, but if your spots are rebooked we will gladly reschedule you.
