Course Description

Explore the possibilities of pottery with this fun one-time handbuilding class. Each week is a different project as you learn basic techniques in the studio. Result? Something you created to take home, whether it's a planter, coffee mug, appetizer tray or candle holder. A perfect class for making gifts for friends and family, once you have handbuilt your pottery you will select from four different glazes. Approximately four weeks later you will receive an email saying your pieces will have been through two firings and are ready for pick up. Here's the project schedule: Week 1 of the Month - 2 appetizer trays - entertain your friends Week 2 of the Month - 2 pots for your favorite plants Week 3 of the Month - 2 coffee mugs - make that tea if you wish Week 4 of the Month - 2 artisan candle holders made by you Week 5 of the Month - Rare and so a SURPRISE! Instructors choice, it will be a studio favorite project.

Cancellation Policy

Because our classes are often full, we ask that you cancel/reschedule 5 days in advance of your first Weekly Course for a refund so we can re-book the wheel. For Weekly Courses, we are generally able to accommodate one missed class, depending on an available wheel. All refunds are issued after deducting non-refundable processing fees to cover costs incurred. Our one-time classes have a 3-day cancellation or reschedule policy. Member clinics have a 24 hour cancellation requirement.
