Course Description

We have designed a thorough six-week wheel course for either a beginner or the novice looking to revisit the basics before moving to a studio membership. A solid hands-on introduction to clay and the potter's wheel, the curriculum introduces the basics of preparing and throwing clay on the wheel, the craft of trimming your pieces and glazing of the functional ware that you create. Each weekly class is two hours long - which breaks out to an affordable cost of $56/week. Class size limited to 8. Included with Potter's Wheel Basics: - Open studio time to practice throwing on your own each week. Please see the Student Practice page on the website for current practice hours. - 25 pounds of clay (including firing and glazing). - Basic tools for your use during class. (Bring a towel and apron if you like.)

Cancellation Policy

To reschedule or be refunded (less transaction fees) requires: - at least 3 days notice before a One-Time Class - at least 5 days notice before the first day of a 6-week course No refunds issued with less than the required notice above, but if your spots are rebooked we will gladly reschedule you.
