Course Description

Discover the fun of pottery with our comprehensive six-week Potter’s Wheel Basics course at Throw Clay LA. Whether you’re a beginner or a novice looking to revisit the fundamentals, this hands-on introduction to clay and the potter's wheel will teach you everything you need to know. From preparing and throwing clay on the wheel to trimming and glazing your pieces, our experienced instructors will guide you through the entire process. Each weekly class is two hours long - which breaks out to an affordable cost of $56/week. Sign up today and reap the benefits found through creating with clay. Class size limited to 8. Included with Potter's Wheel Basics: - Open studio time to practice throwing on your own each week. Please see the Student Practice page on the website for current practice hours. - 25 pounds of clay (including firing and glazing). - Basic tools for your use during class. (Bring a towel and apron if you like.)

Cancellation Policy

To reschedule or be refunded (less transaction fees) requires: - at least 3 days notice before a One-Time Class - at least 5 days notice before the first day of a 6-week course No refunds issued with less than the required notice above, but if your spots are rebooked we will gladly reschedule you.
