Course Description

For those looking to imagine, plan, execute, and glaze small scale ceramic sculptures. Going beyond slab, coils, and pinching, we cover hollowing, drying, sculpture glazing, and techniques for creating expressive dimensional surfaces. Students with previous experience in a range of handbuilding techniques will find this class most rewarding. Included with this course: - Open studio time to practice throwing on your own each week. -Monday through Thursday 11am-8pm -Saturday and Sunday 11am-7pm (No practice on Fridays) - 25 pounds of clay (including firing and glazing). - Basic tools for your use during class. (Bring a towel and apron if you like.

To reschedule or be refunded (less transaction fees) requires: - at least 3 days notice before a One-Time Class - at least 5 days notice before the first day of a 6-week course No refunds issued with less than the required notice above, but if your spots are rebooked we will gladly reschedule you.
