Course Description

NO CLASS THANKSGIVING WEEK Once you have completed Introduction to Potter's Wheel, or if you have prior wheel experience and are comfortable throwing, continue with this 2-hour, six-week course. You will expand your knowledge of the techniques involved in throwing functional ware. This class explores glazes beyond a single coat. Upon completing this course, you might retake Continuing Potter’s Wheel, become a member, or take Intermediate Potter’s Wheel; this all depends on where you’re at with the craft. Included with Continuing Potter's Wheel: - Open studio time to practice throwing on your own each week. Please see the Practice Time link on the website for current practice hours. - 25 pounds of clay (including firing and glazing). - Basic tools for your use during class. (Bring a towel and apron if you like.)
