Course Description

Note: Week 4 falls on Memorial Day. Class will be held that day. Designed for either a beginner or the novice looking to revisit the basics, this course provides a solid hands-on introduction to clay and the potter's wheel. Over the six-week course, you are introduced to the basics of preparing and throwing clay on the wheel, the craft of trimming your pieces and glazing of the functional ware that you create. Included with Introduction to Potter's Wheel: - Open studio time to practice throwing on your own each week. *Monday through Thursday 11am-8pm *Saturday and Sunday 11am-7pm (No practice on Fridays) - 25 pounds of clay (including firing and glazing). - Basic tools for your use during class. (Bring a towel and apron if you like.)

Cancellation Policy

To reschedule or be refunded (less transaction fees) requires: - at least 3 days notice before a One-Time Class - at least 5 days notice before the first day of a 6-week course No refunds issued with less than the required notice above, but if your spots are rebooked we will gladly reschedule you.
