Art Without Barriers: 6-week Course Application
Making Pottery Accessible
Throw Clay LA is committed to making pottery more accessible through our Art Without Barriers program, a fund designed to support those looking to incorporate the ceramic arts into their lives, but without the means to do so. Through this initiative, a limited number of spots in our six-week courses will be offered to eligible applicants one to two days before the start of the course.
How Art Without Barriers 6-week Course Grants Work
-
Eligible six-week courses with open spots shortly before the start time/date may be donated by Throw Clay LA to Art Without Barriers to offer as grants.
-
Applicants indicate what portion of the course cost they are able to contribute (sliding scale).
-
Applications must be submitted in advance using the 6-Week Course application form below.
-
Priority is given to individuals who show a strong desire to learn and participate in the Throw Clay LA community.
-
If offered a spot, you’ll be notified by email and text. Please reply quickly to confirm your participation. (Spots remain open for public booking and may be filled by paid registrations before we receive your confirmation.)
-
Grant placement depends on availability. Bing open to either wheel or handbuilding courses increases your chances of receiving a spot.
