Enjoy a private pottery experience for two at Throw Clay LA. Choose either the Potter’s Wheel or Handbuilding for a relaxed, hands-on introduction to working with clay with your own instructor.
With the Potter’s Wheel, each person will learn the basics of centering and shaping clay on the wheel and create two pieces.
With Handbuilding, each person will work with clay slabs to create two pieces by hand.
At the end of your experience, you’ll each select glaze colors for your pieces. Once they have dried, we’ll take care of the glazing and firing. Your finished pottery will be ready for pickup in approximately 4–5 weeks, and we’ll email you when it’s ready.
Private Pottery Experiences for Two are available Monday through Friday before 5:00 PM, based on studio and instructor availability. Your date and time must be confirmed with Throw Clay LA before purchasing.
Private events in-studio are limited and require extra staffing and preparation. So that we can accommodate you, please book ahead as much as possible. Please note our Private Event Cancellation Policy is as follows:
10 days’ notice required ahead of event for refund or reschedule.
5-9 days ahead of event - 50% refund, no option to reschedule.
No refunds or rescheduling with less than 5 days’ notice.
